I was also considering utilizing carbon fiber to make the manifold I'm
working on, however after a little bit of research, milling, grinding, and
welding appears to be a little more forgiving, and provides for smoother
surfaces within the plenum areas, which will attribute to better airflow
(less fuel pooling on a carb system, which is a must with nitrious).
Anyway, I scrapped the idea more out of fear than logic. Right now, I'm
looking at mild-steel.
