Hi Clare,
Painless Wiring makes a universal harness part # 60101(around
$300)..Then use a 454 TB or a Holley 502-6(670cfm)(around$290.00),many
options on fuel pump,,I like the Mallory 4060FI(around $150.00)...Get
the sensors(MAP,Knock,O2,Temp,ESC,etc) from a parts house,,,use a
GM1227747 computer, Start out with an ASDZ bin, eliminate the VSS and TC
lockup and remap,,,walah you are computerized...The only tough thing
you'll have is to take a pontiac HEI and convert the module for the
87-91 chev truck...But not too hard....If you don't want to worry about
the esc for knock retard,,,you can eliminate this by starting with an 87
454 Bin file,,AZFT...this one is T-400 so no VSS or TC lockup or knock
to worry about either....I'm sure you have many more questions so rather
than babble on,,I'll answer them specifically.....HTH's
