Hi Mike,
  I have used a erasure made by walling co. mod D..It does not have a
timer and costs 39.95 from JDR Microdevice(1-800-538-5003 x 363 Dominic)
I then took the top off and disabled the switch that only lets the light
on with the top closed,,,,then lay a memcal on it with the light going
in the eprom window and it erases in about 5-10 minutes....works for
me..
