If you run a smaller engine, and turbocharge it highly, and run
a bit intercooler, you WILL get a high milage vehicle.  Look
at the japanese turbo city cars.  They get great gas milage.
This discussion has been srely lacking in discussion of the
efficiency of the various induction systems, the effect on
round trip efficiency of intercoolers, and the importance for
performance and economy.
