1984/5 control modules ARE NOT pinned out the same as 1986/7 modules, of
this much I'm certain. (my 85 regal wouldn't run after I tried dads 86
module on it as a part of a troubleshooting exercise)  The pinout is all
that is different.  power and signal fromn the crank sensor are reversed
(I THINK).  In any case, it plugged in, and I had to change my crank
sensor.

88 and up modules use more slots on the rings...Cam sensor and 2 rings
of crank sensor provide redundancy.
