FWIW, my experience with GM reluctors is that they are limited in maximum
RPM compared to Ford or Chrysler reluctors. I am basing this statement on
numerous examples of each tested on a SUN synchrograph. IIRC, GM
reluctors generate multiple signals around 6000 RPM [crankshaft] whereas
the others were invariably good up to the max available RPM on the 
synchrograph. YMMV. I have no rationale for this.
