1227730 vs 16198262 ECM

A 198? Corsica w/ 2.8 MPFI showed up at a nearby yard.  It has an ECM
that's not quite the 1227730 that I expected.  Instead, it has a
16198262 - which looks just like a '730.  Is the 16198262 a service
upgrade/swap for the '730?  Or is it an oddball ECM used in only a few
vehicles?  The label on this one implies that it is a remanufactured
unit.  Could it be a (repaired) replacement for the infamous cold solder
joint '730's?
