since this is strictly off-topic, this is my last post on the topic....
to do a changeover,  replace the drier, and ALL  O  rings, with viton  they are
blue/green in color....r12 are black....

KNOW that the hoses do not leak,  flush system with say carb cleaner...and blow
out with air hose.....
drain compresser of all oil,  just upend it and turn crankcase over several
cycles...do not attempt to clean it....

put in about 2 oz of PAG oil....for R134.....can be poured into the
condensor.....

reassemble, and pressurise test for leakes,  just a few ox of r134, and air
pressure up to ~100 pounds....leave for a few hours...watch the gauges for
pressure drops,  if it drops the leak must be detected....

evacuate with a pump,  pull down to -28 inches,....it should go rapidly to that
vac level, and stay for 2-3 hrs minimum with pump running....

put in about 2-3 lbs of R134....not a 'full charge'     DUN.....GENE
