3-wire O2 sensors

I think that I might need an O2 sensor on my truck.  I need to get a
GM 3-wire one.  I currently have a 3-wire bosch with one black and 2
white wires on it.  My harness has the standard GM colors.  since this
is an aftermarket system, i can't say that i need a sensor for a 77
GMC.  What years/vehicles would this sensor fit?  what colors should
the wires on the O2 be?  And HOW DO I TEST MINE!!!!!!
