Uh?  You mean the kernel is in EEPROM (even at that, that's a lot of 
EEPROM, and EEPROM is slow), or do you just mean that it boots 
straight to Linux instead of going the happy horsesh-t route that you 
go when using a former msdog box (start out with a dos based bios, 
then switch to linux while booting from the drive)?
