Hey Stuart, wanted to belatedly emit thanks for the well-spent effort in
getting this article presented. There's a LOT of good stuff regarding
inverter issues; got my hard copy in frontOme. Also an eXcellent
discussion on how to mangle/manage the spark risetime/duration via
capacitive and flywheel-diode effects. I think it's quite phenomenal
that the guy was able to build a CDI circuit that would give about the
same duration as an inductive IGN system.

This the more important, as we mess with the spark duration tuning to
get ION to be able to measure what she needs to see. I can already see
things I could do to the DSE system we've several got coming for our
various ION-eyes experiments, for gradually elongating the spark
duration.

So whilst I might not wanna build that one circuit directly, it's got
some REAL valuable contribs to the effort. Thanks then awfully for your
assist, mate. Most helpful to me, and I'm sure others as well, not to
mention that lovely gal ION.
