I don't remember specific issue but Radio-TV News (or Radio-Television
News) had a description of the system sometime in 1957 or 1958 if you
could find copies in a library. This magazine changed names several
times: Radio-Television News - Radio-TV News - Electronics World -
Popular Electronics(combined).
Chevrolet and Pontiac came out with the mechanical Rochester injection
in 1957 while American Motors and Chrysler announced the Bendix
electronic system. In this same time frame either this magazine or
Radio-Electronics had a construction article for a CD ignition system
using vacuum tubes and thyratrons.
