I have been working on a OBD2 scan tool for past 3 yrs. when nothing 
else to do.   I have a proto GM that uses VPW 10.4K baud.  
and sent a list member a ISO-9141 to rs232 converter, (i guess it is 
still working)  I plan on making the software shareware.
I have access to a Snap-off and  tech2  scanner and Hypertech 
programmer, currently have no access to a ALDL car, but can
help out any way possible.
