Crank Trigger Signal (was monitoring RPM)

I may be wrong on this but I believe GM does the "look at" for timing
calcs every cylinder.
  Jus a quick reference, How many times does the crank turn on a
Top Fueler during a pass (yes martha, without tire spin), 3.0:1 gears
48" tall tires works out to like 315.  Course this is in way less than 5
sec.s..  Jus something to think about...(Heard with tire growth was 290)
