Yeah, I hear that!  My $$$ are tucked in a coffee jar so I purchase a
welder.  I got the dry sump system used, and while I'd have been concerned
about used oiling stuff, this was from someone I know real well who is
meticulous when it comes to vehicles and assemblies (he even polished the
inside of his valve covers <G>).
