Hi All

I'd be glad to hear any thoughts on my water injection circuit you
can see it at

http://www.lincoln.ac.nz/ccb/techs/simon/circuits.htm

The circuit uses a 555 as a one shot triggered by the ignition
pulses. The output from the 555 triggers a transistor that drives a
standard fuel injector.

Using a pressure switch (overboost switch, oil pressure sender, map
sensor etc) or a TPS you can control the point when the injection
happens This means that rusting wont be a problem.

I plan to use an efi pump to pump the water to the injector I have
been told that if you add castor oil to the water the fuel pump will
get sufficient lubrication...... I was thinking of using soluble oil.
I guess that I'd need to use an efi pump as underboost there will be
more pressure in the inlet manifold than a std fuel pump.

Cheers

Simon
