Yes, voltage can rise to 1.42 V. But it,s not normal condition for engine's
running.
To my mind this voltage must be 0.82 - 0.9 v on full throttle  and  about
0.2 v  on cruise.
On idle it,s hard to say.  The voltage will fluctuate.
