The clutch *SHOULD* slip slightly upon closing for street use, otherwise
you get a nasty jolt to your U-joints and your engine bearings when the
powertrain goes from zero load to maximum load, especially when going off
the line.  Nothing wrong with going higher than OEM as far as pressure
plate springs, etc, but not to radical.  U-joints are not expensive, but a
pain in the ass if you break them every 5000 miles, been there done that.
