Engine condition monitoring diagnostic tester project

Interesting crankcase pressure is a pretty good indication of a broken
compression ring, some manufacturers recomend bourdon gauges which fit on to the
breather system to monitor this, for in race monitoring it could be very
useful as you tell the driver to back off so the car makes it to the finish
but for street use I would need to try it before making up my mind as I suspect
the tell tale signs of oil leaks everywhere would be apparent. A fuel pump
tester or boost gauge should have about the right range.
