I was completely unaware of this idea before joining this list a couple of
weeks ago.  I was talking with someone about it yuesterday, and he said
that one of the US manufacturers  was doing something similar, but with the
ionisation probe in the exhaust port.  

Does anyone know anything about this?, how does it compare
(performance-wise) with the Saab scheme?
