The GMC V-6s were good motors and maybe the diesel version was okay, too.
The V-8 stretch job with its MMouse crank was a bit too much however.

The Intersmashable 404-446s were designed from the start a gas-diesel
engines which explains their success in Diesel service. Of course, the
Power Stroke 7.3 is a completely new design.
