Spam

A couple of points about spam that may make it 
through to the list.

Please _do not_ go firing off emails to Ohio-State
administrators.  A possible response would be to
shut the lists down... let's not be annoying
our hosts.

The absolute best thing to do with spam is simply
to delete it.

If we start to get a problem on the list, the list
administrators will deal with it.

If you do start sending complaints to 'abuse' addresses,
remember, a lot of the headers in spam are faked.
You will probably end up sending complaints to
sites that had nothing to do with the spam if you
simply pull out domains from  the 'From' or 'Reply-To' fields.
