Definite interest here--whattinell is "Hipping"???

And whyinell don't more folks make more stuff out of maraging steels
insteada good ol' 4340E?? (Any number of reasons why they sould be better
for things like cranks and rods, including higher strength, better impact
resistance, easier machining, etc., etc.!!)

6 AL 4 is pretty much the Ti alloy of choice for most internal engine bits.
(Unless, of course, you get into unobtanium!!)
