Thoughts:  If scantool shows 2X RPM, does output speed seem to match? 
Or, does injector pulse seem double?  
Timing increases would be more rapid.
TCC apply might be sooner
might reach RPM cutout sooner.  Would require monitoring RPM signal in
for frequency.

Same ECM used in crossfire and 2.5l Pontiacs.  Wiring wasn't installed
for injector #2.  My guess is the worst case would require resistor in
series for injector #2.  
Now, can we crank it up to 12 or 16 cyls?
