Thank you all for your input on my idea to use rubber line and
hose clamps on my fuel rail.  You are all right, it was a dumb
idea.  I'm going to call the local VW shops and get a used set
of injector fittings from a D-jetronic setup, with the proper
barbs and clamps and all that, i'm not taking any chances.

wearing a fire suit takes all the fun out of motorcycling.
