Bill Miller, you just might be scientifically correct in your approach to a
hotter engine as being more energy efficient,   but today's engines can't stand
the heat, and be durable,   not out of today's production materials...ceramics
may well be a way out of this mess,,,....I would love to see it...assuming it
would be durable...compared to the cost of repair, the very slight enviro-fuel
savings are nonsense in today's engineering/production reality , assuming
electronic engine controls...
