return line to gas tank

For those who want just a little more heat shielding on their portions of
their fuel lines (or whatever), Ford has a "Brake Tube Insulator Kit" that
might help. It can be installed without disconnecting the lines since it
has regular snaps to secure it around the line. It looks like a thick foil
with maybe a fiberglass matte on one side and the kit has different
lengths in it. I don't have the original box with part number, but the
instructions say it is service part number F2TZ-2C361-B. I think the
resulting inside diameter is just over 3/4 inch.

I had to use some on my 100% stock s-10 because the abs brake wiring was
run close enough to the exhaust manifold that the plastic loom melted. I
put a couple of these strips together (short sides for an inside diameter
over an inch) around the wiring to protect it from further damage. I
never did see a tsb on it, but the wire routing was apparently changed the
next model year.
