Just a few comments on coating:

Try Speed-O-Motive, Santa Fe Springs, CA, tel. 562 945 2758 for coatings.
They offer good prices for coatings with the packaging in sizes sufficient for
the DIY'er use.  Tech support quite good as well.  

>From personal experience DON'T USE YOUR HOME OVEN! Your food will never taste
the same.
Spend $75 and get a used electric oven, it'll cost 'ya a lot less in the end.
