Motronic?

no, motronic is by Bosch. has nothing to do with motorola, the first systems
managed the ignition system and the fuel injection system, and they have
progressed from there. used in porsche, bmw, etc. etc.

I may be very wrong about this, but my memory recalls that Motorola
electronics
developed a system used many years ago....is this a take-off of that system?
