which 3 wire O2 sensor ?

is the 4th wire a ground for the sensor ?
and the other two are the heater ?

it is possible to read the resistance value of the heater to determine the
temperature of the sensor ? or I suppose the ECU does that and if it is out
of range it goes open loop.

what is the common scheme to check the temp and keep it within limits ?

I should have mentioned in my previous posting that the P/N I selected
were the ones with the longest harnesses at the cheapest prices.
