I got lots of grease, this 5 oz. military tube of the stuff, my worry
was how much of an insulator is this stuff? You have about 2 or 3
sq. inches of copper plate screwed to the alum case with 3 insulated
screws, probably not alot of clamping force there, I don't really
know if any metal to metal contact actually exsists to create the
ground. 100 amp at 14 volt will make alot of heat through a just
slightly resistive path, will it not?
As to the other question I saw on this subject, I think all heat sink
compound dries out over time, at least to some extent.
