OFF TOPIC: convertible tops

If there are any custom type people here who have added convertible tops
or hard tops to cars that didn't originally have them, please get back
to me privately since this is way off charter.  I have a car with a lot
of roof rot and I think this might be a way to save it, but I'd like to
talk to someone who's "been there".  Thanks,
