checking L-jetronic airflow meters

Hi Greg,
I worked on a early 80's 280ZX turbo last summer... It would run ok at WOT,
but when you came to a stop, it wouldn't idle...
The air meter door was sticking wide open.  According to my dad, that was a
common problem, as the housing/door weren't machined for a very good fit.
Replaced the air meter and all was fine.
