More stuff on swapping a 4L60e for a 4L80e

How complicated is it to drive these signals and make the transmission
shift?  Do you have to start with a GM ECM and go from there, or would
it be feasible to build a little PIC based thing to run the
transmission?  What's the risk of burning up the transmission?
