I'm not sure if that is correct.  I own a '66 Impala that was built for
california emissions, it was the only state for that year that required a
PVC valve and AIR system.  The only part that was left of it when I got it
was the PVC and I have the original rams horn manifolds with AIR fittings.
I dont live in california but I assume they require emissions testing on
66 and later.  If your car was not built in California than this probably
doesnt affect you.
