I own a 91 Mitsu Eclipse Turbo 5-speed, I've never had this problem, so
I can't tell ya one way or another... I don't believe it has ever
detonated, and I've ragged the heck outa the thing...

It's currently down due to the lil hydraulic auto-adjusters which are
supposed to keep the rockers 'adjusted' so the thing doesn't clatter, as
it is currently.. Musta gotten some dirt in the oil or somethin... A
mechanic said that if ANY foreign particles get into the oil on this
engine, that these adjuster thingy majigs are the first to tell ya so!

They're only $20 a peice and there are 16 OF EM!!!!

So, as soon as I hit the lottery or somethin, I guess I'll be either
drivin it again or sellin it!! Anyone interested?

LATER!
