I've done enough chips from 92/93 cars to belive you're doing
something wrong.  I have a piece of tape over the first hole in the
eraser.  I set the chip in the second hole because it's larger.  My
timer's set to 7 mins.  Ive found it takes 2 or 3 times at this
setting to do the job, and I think it takes less time if I turn the
memcal around once during the process.  Have you erased chips
successfully before?  Maybe the problem's somewhere else?  Are you
picking the right eprom type in the PP software?
