The MSD RPM switch has *no* hysteresis & turns on real sloppy.  For rapidly
changing RPMs might be a good bet, but if you want positive "on-off" on
slowly changing tach signals, its a POS.  Unmarked chips inside box, so's
wouldn't know where to add appropriate resisror(s).

Cost me over a hundred bux to find this out.
