What to datalog?

I finally started building a display unit for up to eight thermocouples and
have planned on logging a few other values too. But when I am almost
finished with the layouts for a Atmel 90S8535 and a linear devices LTC 1294
12bit ADC I started counting.

On my car the only analog values I _need_ to logg are five exhaust gas
temperatures, intake temperature, temp between turbo and intercooler and
boost pessure. What do I do with the other eight channels?

Any suggestions?

I think it is best to ask for your opinion before I start logging useless
things;)

I have been thinking of these(in order of interest):

WBO2, fuel pressure, crank house pressure, oil temp, oil pressure, coolant
temp.

I have decided that I need the extra two bits of the external ad converter
to make it easier to identify missfires and detonations, I aim at
50-100samples/second. I don't even know if it is possible to detect these
things with the slow sensors we turbo guys has to use.
