OBD2 communication prob

Hi All,
    I know this should prolly be directed to Alex but thought this might be
faster as some of you already have his stuff.....I got it a while back when
we did the GP and installed the software and was pretty impressed with it
but haven't had the opportunity to use it until today and I can't get it to
communicate with the obd2...have verified the pinouts on the connector and
have tried moving com ports around....Is there something else simple I could
be missing???? All of the protocols seem to be in order and the ALL is
checked on the options screen.....anybody??? Thanks
