Three 2bbl throttle bodies

I'm currently underway on a project of designing a TPI system that will
use 3 2bbl throttle bodies. The idea is to have the old six pack look
with new technology performance. I have a couple of questions that I can't
find the answers for and I hope someone can help me out. I'm building
the throttle bodies myself but I don't know what the opening sequence of
the butterflies should be. Should all six butterflies open at the same
time or should the opening of the butterflies be staggered. I believe
in the carburated versions the center butterflies would open first and
than when they would reach 60% open, the next set would open, and so on.
Would an EFI system need to have this same approach, or could they open
all at the same time.

My next question is, I need a formula to calculate the CFM for a given size
hole in a throttle body. Does anyone have such a formula. I need to know how
large my throttle body openings should would need to be to achieve about
1000cfm.

Thanks in advance.
