Hall sensor

An FYI, just in case, since it was not specifically
stated. Hall effect sensors change state when magnetic
field density reaches an internally set threshold.

So make sure you use a ferrous metal to interrupt a
biasing magnetic field (reluctor), or magnets.
Some Hall sensors are built with magnet already in the
package, easy to check with a piece of steel.

Hate for anyone to go to the trouble of machining a
shutter or timing wheel in aluminum, only to see it
not work properly.
