Greetings, Mike -

The silence was deafening as far as replies to this post went; definitely
thanks for the response. Guess, basically, I'm (we're) on our own here.
Brian Green seems no longer to correspond w/ me...??? Ohhhh, I *sure*
hope she didn't eat that TB! Is your exhaust guaranteed not corked up? My
Sy experience began that way..... Try the "disconnect the IAC @ idle &
shorting cylinders" @ idle, too - see if a hole's not doing its job - equal
RPM drops sought. Your fueling sounds more than adequate. Did the WOT O2s
do a slow fade over time, or suddenly?

What are your thoughts on the open loop tuning discussed recently on GMECM?
Other than the oxy giving you stoich & your butt-o-meter, what do you do
here? I can see if you had a wideband - WHEREZ EGOR?????

F28 shoulda been .092 @ 0% EGT.

F30 starts low, goes to its max around 3600, tails off from there. I
reason that injector flow rate & engine vol eff (torque) follow a similar
curve, so perhaps should be compensated for there. But what do I know -
more than one way to skin a cat.

Thing (one of many) I want to know is: of all the entries in the 'fueling
formula' are multiplied together to get a BPW result, how come zeroing one
of them doesn't result in *no* injector pulse at all? Maybe the code
itself has values below which it will not accept table entries?

Between the chip & boost problems, there's *got* to be another 0.6 seconds
hiding in there somewhere. Had full fuel tank (93 oct), spare tire & 150#
bed cap on back for my runs, though. Crappy launches, too - poor spooling.
Still, 13.06 @ 105 was disappointing, though - best last year w/o much of
any mods was 13.88 @ 95mph. 12.4 & I'll be a happy man.

We're going away for most of the weekend, so my activities are gonna be
curtailed somewhat. Let me know what shakes out of your engine work.

Thanks - Barry
