Blown head gaskets cause crap to go everywhere and you lose the 14.7:1
a/f ratio. Does the Aurora also have a blown head gasket?

I just have to chime in with several observations. I disassembled a 4L 6cyl
Jeep
w/60K miles and a blown head gasket. Replaced the warped head - the
injectors
were caked with crud like an old spark plug , got out the loop, dental picks
and
solvent and in 30 min. they looked OK. ran great.
Last week I put spark plugs in my 100K Aurora and pulled the injectors out
to
clean them up. They looked new - no crud - not even any varnish. What gives
here? (It still gets 30MPG highway!)
BTW, they have two pairs of holes pointed apart and they were held in
position,
left to right, by a clip which makes them point at the two intake valves.
