I would think that the standard zirc O2 sensor would still switch at
"stoich" for whatever blend of methanol fuel you run, and would be comfy
with that exhaust constituents produced. Granted, the A/F ratio
representing stoich for methanol is numerically different than that of
conventional gasoline, but, all the zirc O2 sensor cares about is the
relative O2 concentration of the exhaust stream at "stoich" versus that of a
nearby reference cavity filled with air.

> Not only will the injectors be affected. Fuel pumps, fuel tanks, fuel
filters, pressure regulators, fuel lines, etc. Even the float/sender in you
fuel tank might be affected. There are external rubber O-rings on the
injectors that seal to the fuel rail. You will need to replace the O2 sensor
with another type that will work accurately with methanol fuel.
