Yes, yes.  (Actually, there's the potential to double (L4), triple (V6),
quadruple (V8), quintuple (V10), and so on.)

Yes, it might be a heat dissipation related thing.  At 1/2 or 1/3 the
rate, they won't get as hot and thus can use inferior (smaller) construction.
