Subject: Slightly OT: DAQ

Hi all.

This is slightly off topic, but I need a DIY data aquisition kit. I'll give
you a brief outline.

I want to build a simple inertia dyno for a low power engine. I need the
DAQ to be able to measure the time between pulses, plus possibly one or two
more channels.(They will be temps).

I was thinking of using the serial or parallel port, but wondering about
data rates??

Are there any sites on DAQ?? I remember this being a thread a little while
ago. i wish I had taken notes now!!!

Thanks for any info.

-Gavin
