Introduction

Hello,

I want to introduce myself as I just subscribed to this list.

I'm Jeroen Proveniers from The Netherlands,age 25. I work as an
software/hardware engineer for a company that designs and produces
obstruction lights etc.
As hobbies I have making music (MIDI,DSP programming) and making all kinds
of modifications to my cars.
Two years ago I bought a Ford Sierra XR4i 2.8i V6 for restoration, though I
haven't done anything on it yet. Because I want to tune the engine and it is
equiped with K-Jetronic I want to change this to an selfmade EFI system.
Sequential multipoint, spark control and possibly wastegaste control. Goal
is to reach 300hp.
When I got the idea of making an EFI myself, I declared myself nuts, but
searched the internet for it, and I was really surprised to actually find
people doing it.
Soon I will sell my current loyal Sierra Turbodiesel for a Sierra 2.0i. This
engine could be a nice testcase for my electronics. Maybe I want to equip it
with a MDS (Multiple Discharge Spark) unit, although I don't know whether
the advantages justify the troubles.
