speedo signal specs

thanks for the pointer. i'll keep looking at this spec. i don't think i have
one of these on my car since a hypertech programmer can compensate the
speedo for gear changes by reprogramming the PCM. i'm thinking that this
means that the signal conversion is done in the PCM now instead of the DRAC.
does this sound right?
