CD question

Use a 555 to fire a LED (with limiting resistor), use the 1.8v drop across
the LED to fire a GM dissy ignition module, use that to fire your CD,  other
then the CD end been using it for several years on the ECM thata way, might
have to flip the wires off of the LED for it to work
